One of the funniest festival host you could have. This woman Annie Brass will make you laugh your ass off. If you ever need someone to host an event she is the full Monty. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time! This gem hosted the Boogie all weekend and didn't skip a beat! There is a lot more to her offerings as well..she just doesn't do comedy. Jolie Blue

A Wheat Farmers Son from Eyebrow Saskatchewan. Jolie Blue sings about the things a wheat farmers son would experience. From finding his grandfathers Cooperalls in the attic, to sticking it to certain corporate grain buyers, Jolie sings the songs of the Rural Prairie Life we all know and love. And just wait till you hear about his affection for Mullets.

Tommy John Ehman

Tommy John Ehman has an incredible passion for music and songwriting and of course, performing his songs wherever there's a willing audience.

His Alternative Country & Roots songwriting style has been honed and crafted through his musical influences like Waylon and Willie, Haggard, Lightfoot, Mellencamp and Springsteen; And his sound has been compared to the likes of Blue Rodeo, Tom Petty and Charlie Major, which puts his music and songwriting in fine company. Multiple albums and radio singles that have been played all across Canada and have placed on major Canadian country music charts. Opening shows for Doc Walker, Michelle Wright, Aaron Pritchett and Valdy and multiple nominations for Saskatchewan Country Music Association awards have been career highlights...so far.

Born and raised on a grain farm in rural Saskatchewan, his music and his heart remain close to the land and the rural way of life.

”I think growing up on the farm has had a lot to do with the way I write songs. I consider myself a storyteller and I guess that came from listening to the stories my parents and grandparents told as I grew up. It's definitely the way I like to structure my songs. I'm always hopeful that my audience can connect in some way with the lyrics. That's the goal for me in my writing and performing. That's why I LOVE making music!”

Tommy is currently preparing to release a brand new single called “Mama Doesn't Pray Anymore” to Canadian country radio on April 10th, 2023 and as well getting poised for some exciting live shows this coming summer.

Annie and the Uncannies is a four-piece Rockabilly band from Moose Jaw. Formed in 2022, they bring the golden era of rock n roll back to life with their electrifying performances, covering everything from Johnny Cash to Adele, all with their own uncanny 50s inspired twist. Get ready to be transported back to a bygone era as Annie and the Uncannies takes the stage.

Rodeo Active

Les Anderson visited our boogie at it's quietest. The Beer Gardens were overgrown with weeds (not open for business). It was during the you know.....but we had to keep the boogie grounds alive with the sound of music. He rode the buck in the hot august sun on stage with John Mcdonnell It was a free event with free food and donations only. It was a success considering. Well fast forward...He is back with his full band...Rodeo Active!!
Rodeo Active has a few rodeos under their belt. Guaranteed for boot stompin' and lady twirlin and everything in between. Lead singer and back up vocals/keyboard is Nancy Marsh. Rythmn guitar/lead and back up vocals is Les Anderson. Lead Guitar/back up vocals is Kyle Kosedy. Back up vocals/bass guitar is Tom Richards and with a drum roll....Rawson Marsh on the skins! Marlborough Nights

Saskatchewan homegrown party band Marlboro Nights came together in 2022 made up
of musicians who earned their chops with other bands over the years. A true party
band, Danny, Jay, Karma, Janice and Darryl entertain their audience with a mix of rock,
country and folk music while switching instruments and lead vocals. You may have
heard them at last years’ Hillbilly Boogie or lake parties. They love playing to an
interactive dance crowd!

Mo Tourand

Mo Tourand was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan and was raised in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan. She started singing at 4 years old in LaFleche, Sask. at the Old Time Dance parties in the town hall. Mo studied piano & accordion through the Royal Conservatory of Music, as well as violin lessons down in Coronach, Saskatchewan. Later on, moved from Gravelbourg to Saskatoon to begin a new grand adventure. Mo is a mother of 4 daughters and a son, Grandmother to 8 beautiful grandchildren, is a singer/songwriter/recording artist. She entered various talent shows as well as karaoke contests. She's the current "Karaoke Queen of Saskatoon" status for winning 7 contests in a row. She has appeared in newspaper and television interviews and won the MBC Radio Talent Search in Lac LaRonge, Sask. From that, was able to produce her debut CD which hit #2 & #3 on the Canadian Country Music charts. MO's inspiration for music is her gift from God, spiritually touched...is an accomplished vocalist. She plans to continue entertaining, writing, recording and following her dreams...🎶

Jay Semko

Jay Semko is singer/ bassist with multiple JUNO Award nominees and Western Canadian Music Hall of Fame members The Northern Pikes, and is an award winning music composer for numerous film and TV productions, including the syndicated series, "Due South".
He is considered one of Canada’s premiere singer/songwriters, with 10 solo albums released, and has co-written and recorded with many of the best songwriters and musicians in music.
Jay is currently at work on a new album, and he continues to tour across Canada with the Northern Pikes and as a solo artist, sharing his songs, stories and adventures from his life in music. www.jaysemko.com

Val Halla

Val Halla is a Métis singer/songwriter born and raised in Treaty 4 Territory, and with ancestral roots in the Red River and Fort Vermillion Métis communities, and ties to land and family from all across the Métis homeland and Turtle Island. She also has ancestral family from Sweden, Scotland (Northern Hebrides, Orkney Isles, Isle of Skye, and the Isle of Raasay), England, United States (North Dakota), France, and Alsace-Lorraine (France/Germany).

Val Halla has played hundreds of shows across Canada, the United States, and Europe over the last 20 years, and has worked with or performed shows with other notable acts like Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, Elliott Randall (Steely Dan), Eric Burdon (The Animals), Burton Cummings (The Guess Who), The Dead South, Colter Wall, Todd Kerns (Slash/Toque/The Age of Electric), and Streetheart just to name a few.

In addition to being featured in top magazines like Guitar World and Guitar Player for her 6-string capabilities, she is also a multi-instrumentalist playing drums, bass, and keys in multiple other projects, and an experienced studio engineer/producer.

It is Val's unique approach to the instrumental aspects of composition and arrangement, coupled with strong autobiographical & storytelling lyricism, that started to capture the attention of the guitar and songwriting communities alike.

Always surrounded by powerhouse players that help to bring the compositions to life, Val Halla will be performing at the Hillbilly Boogie with Bryn Besse on lead guitar (Jeff Straker/Blake Berglund/Belle Plaine), Ron "Bass" Lawson on (you guessed it) the bass guitar (Big Bad Storm/Gliem), and Jeff Romanyk (Rah Rah/Sylvie/Parkland/The Alley Dawgs) on the drums.

Amy Nelson

FACTOR-funded, Canadian country music artist Amy Nelson is blazing trails at home and abroad. With her hometown of Regina, Saskatchewan as a springboard, Amy has risen into the spotlight across Canada and Australia as a vibrant singer, songwriter, musician, and multi-enterprise businesswoman.

Amy’s most recent release was a one-off single in 2022, “Trippin’,” for top Canadian country music label Open Road Recordings, produced by CCMA Award winner Jeff Dalziel (Washboard Union, Nice Horse). The video for this playful song has been viewed more than 125,000 times on YouTube. It became Amy's highest-charting single to date on Canadian Country Radio, peaking at #52. She is now writing for her fourth studio album, which will be recorded in late 2023.

Empowering the next generation of artists is a driving force for Amy, as seen through her former work as a high school music teacher and opening her own singing school for kids. Since Amy launched Sing Like a STAR in 2011, this business which she created and oversees has encouraged more than 3,000 Saskatchewan children to grow in confidence and follow their dreams.

This love of music and travel, along with her collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit, led Amy to create Export Entertainment, a company creating international exchanges between artists in Canada and other countries. Recent projects include bringing a Canadian band with her on tour in Australia and connecting top Australian country artists with musical opportunities in Canada. Exchanges in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and the United States are in the works.

Her international efforts have been recognized across Canada. In April 2019 Amy was
recognized from the floor of the Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly for her intercontinental
